In Cancun, you can discover underwater sculptures at the MUSA Underwater Museum and some coral reefs at Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park.
Tours & Excursions
If you want to explore The Bahamas, you can do a guided snorkeling tour or something more like visiting the Primeval Forest National Park and Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve for a nature experience. In Cancun, you can discover ancient Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza and of course, explore the El Rey ruins. Hard to choose for sure, but we personally love the idea of exploring ancient ruins like Indiana Jones or Lara Croft.
Nightlife
You can enjoy the vibrant nightlife of The Bahamas at clubs like Bond Nightclub or have a cool night on a rooftop lounge experience at the Skybar. In Cancun, you need to dance all night away at Coco Bongo or just enjoy live music at venues like Mandala and Carlos N Charlie's.
No matter what you decide, if you're looking for an amazing Caribbean trip both Cancun and The Bahamas offer unforgettable experiences for your next getaway. We would say that the Bahamas is great for those that prefer water activities and awesome beaches, while Cancun might be better for those that want very peculiar tours and exploring new places.
