Well, there’s already the Disneyland Hotel, which pays homage to Beauty and the Beast and the elegance of Paris, so let Marvel have its fun with the most American-style hotel in all of Disneyland Paris. What we like about Disney Hotel New York - Art of Marvel
I actually really like the complete overhaul that this hotel went through the last few years. It was previously only known as the Disney Hotel New York before it was Marvelfied. Nowadays, it has one of the biggest Marvel art collections in the world, with hundreds of exclusive artworks shown around the lobby and bars to remind you that, yes, this place is all about Black Panther, Iron Man, Spider Man and friends. They might even have Squirrel Girl there somewhere. Artworks are from different artists from all over the world, and there are even props and statues in the lobby. The design is sleek and contemporary, and a huge contrast when you compare it to something like the Disneyland Hotel.
Of course, this is a hotel for superhero fans, and it includes some really cool amenities for Marvel lovers out there. It’s the only Disneyland Paris hotel with meet & greets featuring Marvel superheroes, plus the Marvel Design Studio, where kids can learn to draw their favorite heroes. Rooms are spacious and well-designed, and if you thought they’d be plastered with superhero art and themed bed sheets, think again. The Marvel touch is subtle - rooms look modern and elegant, with carpets over wooden floors and starting at 333 square feet. Nothing to complain here.
There are also some pretty cool dining spots here, and Disney Hotel New York – Art of Marvel might just be the best Disneyland Paris hotel for restaurants and bars. One highlight is the Downtown Restaurant, which ranked #2 on our list of favorite places to eat at Disneyland Paris. It’s a buffet with a wide range of options, from American favorites like pizza, mac & cheese, and burgers to pasta and sweet treats like tiramisu cups. You’ll also find the Skyline Bar, where a digital screen behind the bartender shows views of New York with Stark Tower in the background. If you’ve been on the Disney Wish and visited the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, it’s a similar concept.
Hotel New York also scores big points for its excellent location. It’s just a three-minute walk from Disney Village - the entertainment and shopping district at Disneyland Paris - and about ten minutes from the parks themselves. It’s the second-closest resort to the parks, only behind the Disneyland Hotel, which sits right above the entrance. Plus, it’s around $300 per night cheaper than the Disneyland Hotel, and for that kind of savings, I’ll happily walk an extra ten minutes to the gates each day.
What we don’t like about Disney Hotel New York - Art of Marvel
It’s hard to find something that is a really big negative about this hotel. It was recently renovated, it looks stylish without being too in-your-face-Marvel, it has good restaurants, nice rooms and excellent pools as well.
It’s also not a hotel for everyone, since this is the second most expensive resort at Disneyland Paris. Rooms start at around $550 per night, which can be a stretch for many families. And compared to other resorts, it feels a bit less “Disney,” and more like the kind of luxury hotel you’d find in New York. Then again, that was the idea from the start, so good job, Disneyland Paris.

Disney Hotel New York is one of the best resorts at Disneyland Paris. It has excellent restaurants, stylish rooms, and is a no-brainer if your family loves superheroes. It’s also much cheaper than the Disneyland Hotel, even if $550 per night isn’t exactly what we’d call cheap.
