Not really. There are a few stormtroopers firing at you (and missing, of course, since they went to the Stormtrooper Training School) and Kylo Ren makes an appearance trying to catch your vehicle but, other than that, it isn't scary. There is a sudden drop sequence near the end of the ride, but the fall is fairly short.
