    A Guide to RESTAURANTS in Hollywood Studios!

    Hollywood Studios normally is not the first park that comes to mind when thinking of best Disney restaurants, but nonetheless they have some pretty great options that might surprise you. This guide to Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studio’s restaurants will help outline the best options for you and your family. No matter where you choose to dine during your day at Hollywood Studios, you’re bound to have a day that you’ll never forget!

    50’s Prime Time Cafe

    Step right into both the 50’s and the family as you enter into one of the best themed table service restaurants in the whole park! 50’s Prime Time Cafe is a dining experience like none other, where the servers are role playing as your actual aunts, uncles and cousins! They won’t hesitate to tell you to mind your manners, and if you’re good enough, they may even let you watch TV at the table! This entire dining experience is a blast for the whole family and is sure to be entertaining. Menu items include classics like fried chicken, chicken pot pie, meatloaf, mom’s old fashioned pot roast and more. Entrees range from $17 to $30 and reservations are highly recommended and should be made well in advance.

    ABC Commissary

    ABC Commissary, located in Commissary Lane, features tons of family friendly menu items such as shrimp tacos, chicken club sandwiches, Mediterranean salads and an absolutely star-worthy buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich. This restaurant puts the quick in quick service, and is a great option if you need to grab a super fast bite on your way in or out of the park. Pricing for this restaurant ranges from $10 to $15 per adult and $8 per child.

    Backlot Express

    This quick service restaurant is located in Echo Lake and serves up classic American fare with a twist including smoked BBQ pork burgers, chicken strips, Cuban sandwiches, southwest salads, cheeseburgers and more. They also offer a Teriyaki tofu bowl as a plant based option and macaroni and cheese and uncrustables for kids meals. Kids meals cost between $6 and $8 while adult meals cost between $11 and $15.

    BaseLine Tap House

    This is the perfect place to take a little break from the hustle and bustle of the parks and relax for a bit. BaseLine Tap House is a brewery with a huge selection of beers and ciders, but they also have some pretty awesome snacks to choose from. Their food selection includes Bavarian soft pretzels with beer cheese, a California cheese and charcuterie plate and coffee rubbed rib-eye beef puffs, all of which are under $12. They also have a selection of non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails available for order.

    Catalina Eddie’s

    This quick service Italian restaurant is located on Sunset Boulevard and is most known for their large selection of pizzas. This is not the highest quality dining option that Hollywood Studios has to offer, but it is very family friendly and has a pretty fun atmosphere. The menu keeps it pretty simple, with cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and caesar salads with chicken as the only options, all of which are $12. They also have breadsticks and marinara sauce as an optional side for $6 and pizza kids meals for $8.

    Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

    Located in Galaxy’s Edge, this Star Wars themed quick service restaurant is a super cool experience whether you’re a Star Wars Fan or not. Here you can find menu items such as beef stir fry, tuna poke, fried chicken with macaroni and veggies, chicken salad, pork ribs and more. They also have a plant based meatball, hummus and pita sandwich for those who are vegetarian. Prices for this restaurant are on the higher end for a quick service spot, with prices ranging from $14 to $19 per entree. It is a little pricey, but the entire restaurant is super well-themed and it is a really fun experience.

    Dockside Diner

    Located on Echo Lake right near the giant green dinosaur, this quick service spot serves up a variety of hot dogs with different toppings including applewood bacon, avocado, macaroni and cheese, beer cheese and more. This is a quick and easy stop for families on their way in or out of the park. Prices here range from $10 to $12 per hot dog.

    Epic Eats

    This Indiana Jones-style dessert spot is located right near the Indiana Jones show, and offers some super delicious snacks including soft-serve waffle cones, funnel cakes with cookies’n’cream, vanilla ice cream and / or strawberry toppings, root beer floats and a variety of alcoholic beverages. This is a perfect stop for both adults and kids to grab a cooling snack when the Florida heat becomes too much! Prices for the desserts range from $6 to $8.

    Fairfax Fare

    Fairfax Fair serves up a variety of different bowls including a Korean barbecued pork belly bowl, bacon mac and cheese bowl, a barbecued beef brisket bowl and a buffalo chicken bowl. For vegetarian options, they have a soba noodle salad bowl with soy chicken as well. Prices for these bowls range from $10 to $15. If you’re a fan of Walt Disney World’s mousse cakes, you can find a super cute enchanted rose-themed one here for about $6.

    Hollywood and Vine

    Hollywood and Vine is located right next door to the 50’s Prime Time Diner and is the only dining option in Hollywood Studios where you can dine with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto all at once. The food here is buffet style, which includes assorted breads, beet salad, peel-n-eat shrimp, caramelized brussel sprouts, oven roasted turkey breast, mushroom risotto, seared salmon with beurre blanc, oven roasted chicken, crispy tofu with Asian glaze, artichoke salad, sour cream and chive whipped potatoes, seasonal fruit salad, roasted pork, olive oil herb crushed potatoes, macaroni and cheese with shrimp and bacon and roasted beef strip loan with horseradish cream. They also have a variety of desserts for selection and beverages included. The full price for this dining experience is $63 per adult and $40 per child ages 3 to 9. They also offer a breakfast buffet for $47 per adult and $30 per child.

    The Hollywood Brown Derby

    This is Hollywood Studio’s most upscale table service restaurant, with menu items like escargot, grilled pork, filet mignon, fish, pan roasted halibut, lamb shank and their famous cobb salad with secret dressing. The prices for this restaurant are on the higher side as it is considered to be luxury dining, with entree prices between $33 and $50 and appetizers between $15 and $23. Rest assured, the food definitely makes these steep prices worth it!

    Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano

    Located on Grand Avenue in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this restaurant serves up classic Italian cuisine in a super cute family-oriented dining room. Entrees here include pork chops, spaghetti and meatballs, shrimp campanelle, Italian pasta with chicken, chicken parmesan, polenta cake with mushrooms and cauliflower and more. Prices here range from $25 to $40 per entree. Kids have the option between pasta, grilled chicken or pizza, all of which cost about $13. If you’re with a large group or are with lots of younger children, this is a great option for a more casual table service restaurant.

    PizzeRizzo

    This fast casual quick service restaurant offers up Italian-inspired cuisine, including menu options like pepperoni pizza, sausage pizza, cheese pizza, meatball subs and antipasto salads. They also have an impossible sausage sub and a veggie pizza for vegetarian options. Each of these meals costs between $11 and $13 a piece. PizzeRizzo also has a selection of kids meals including a mini chicken sub, cheese and pepperoni pizza and mac and cheese for $7 to $8 a piece. Again, this is not the finest cuisine you’ll find in all of Disney World, but it is great in a pinch when everyone needs something quick and convenient.

    Ronto Roasters

    Located in Galaxy’s Edge, this quick service restaurant is a great place to grab a quick bite. Here they offer a variety of ronto wraps, including a breakfast version. The breakfast ronto wrap includes eggs, grilled sausage, cheddar and a peppercorn sauce in pita bread. They also have an overnight oats option with dragon fruit, yogurt and other seasonal fruits. During lunch time they have a ronto wrap without eggs in it and a plant based zucchini wrap with grilled zucchini, smoky chickpea onion slaw, creamy garlic tahini sauce and fresh cilantro in pita bread. All of these wraps cost around $12 to $13 and are perfect to grab on the go.

    Rosie’s All-American Cafe

    As the name suggests, this quick service restaurant serves up classic, all American fare. Located on Sunset Boulevard, this restaurant offers chili cheese footlong hot dogs, angus cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, a plant based lobster roll and more. This is another dining location that would fall under the “nothing too special” category, but it isn’t a bad option if you’re craving all-American food. Prices for these menu items range from $11 to $14 a piece. They offer kids chicken nuggets and cheeseburger meals for $8 a piece.

    Roundup Rodeo BBQ

    This is the newest restaurant in Walt Disney’s Hollywood Studios and has already become a fan favorite by many. Roundup Rodeo BBQ, a table service restaurant, can be found in Toy Story Land and is an all you care to enjoy style restaurant. Adults cost $45 per person and children cost $25 per person. At this price you’re able to enjoy cheddar biscuits with sweet pepper jelly, watermelon and mint salad, tomato and cucumber salad, smoked ribs, beef brisket, pork sausage, BBQ chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, potato barrels, veggie coleslaw, corn on the cob and a variety of desserts. They also have a plant based option with various other items. This restaurant is really a must try when visiting the park, but reservations book up months in advance, so be sure to plan ahead if you wish to visit.

    Sci-Fi Dine In Theater Restaurant

    If you haven’t caught on by now, Hollywood Studios has an underlying 50’s theme going on, and the Sci-Fi Dine In Theater Restaurant is no exception to that theme! Hop into your vehicle and get ready to enjoy dinner and a show, as old sci-fi movie clips play in the background while you eat. Menu items here include classic American burgers, pesto penne pasta with chicken, chicken salad sandwiches, banh mi burgers, impossible burgers and more. The pricing for this experience is about $23 to $30 per adult entree and $11 to $13 per child entree. If you’re a Sci-Fi fan, this experience definitely shouldn't be missed.

    The Trolley Car Cafe

    If you love to grab a morning coffee on your way into the parks, The Trolley Car Cafe is going to be the place to stop. They offer a full Starbucks menu with all of your favorite drinks, as well as unique Mickey shaped sweets to enjoy. Be sure to check out the variety of park exclusive merchandise while in the store, they always have something new and cute!

    Woody’s Lunch Box

    This is by far the best quick service restaurant in the entire park. Located in Toy Story Land, Woody’s Lunch Box serves up elevated childhood favorites such as raspberry pop tarts, BBQ brisket melts, “totchos” or tater tot nachos, grilled three cheese sandwiches and more. They even have plant based totchos and grilled cheese options for vegetarians. All of the food here is truly incredible!  Pricing for these entrees range from $10 to $13 making it a pretty affordable lunch stop. Be sure to try a grown up lemonade before you go!

    Milk Stand

    Do you prefer blue milk or green milk? Have the opportunity to try both at the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge. These out of this world drink concoctions are a must try for any Star Wars fans on their trip to DIsney. Make it a super fun family activity and see which flavor everyone likes best!
