During The Walt Disney Company Annual Meeting of Shareholders, CEO Bob Iger shared updates on Disney's Experiences, which are set to become even more extraordinary in the coming years.

He revealed exciting new artwork and amazing news like a potential Avatar experience at the Disneyland Resort in California. This addition aligns perfectly with Disney's ongoing efforts to create innovative and out-of-this-world experiences. For now, these additions are pending approval from DisneylandForward, but we need to stay tuned because there is a good chance that soon enough we will experience the wonders of Pandora right at Walt’s original theme park.

It makes sense to have Pandora in Disneyland. The area is incredibly popular in Disney World's Animal Kingdom, and houses one of the best motion simulators in the world: Avatar Flight of Passage. Na'vi River Journey is another area that exists in Pandora and, altough the Disney World version isn't that interesting, maybe a few updates could make this boat ride more fun for guests from all over the world.

Avatar is just one example of how Disney is turning powerful stories (and IPs) into engaging new experiences. Over the last decade, Disney has introduced expansive lands and attractions based on Star Wars, the Avengers, Pixar, and more across its parks worldwide. Most of them (if not all) got positive feedback from guests and critics alike. Galaxy's Edge is a huge success and Toy Story Land has Slinky Dog Dash which is super popular with kids.

Last year we saw the opening of World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland and Zootopia at Shanghai Disney Resort, and both theme parks we a success, visitors love the detail-orientated attention that Disney has invested in. *Ahem* bring Frozen to the USA, Disney, Please! There are rumours that Zootopia is coming already and an attraction will exist inside the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom, replacing It's tough to be a Bug.

The magic continues in 2024 with the debut of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. Tokyo DisneySea will soon open Fantasy Spring which is its largest single-land expansion ever. Disney's presence in Paris is growing too, with the Disneyland Hotel's transformation and the development of a Frozen-themed land at Walt Disney Studios Park.

It's also great to see that Universal is doing well and preparing Epic Universe for 2025. Maybe that move made Disney act faster and invest more in theme parks? Competition is good, folks! We are the ones that win with moves like that, since both companies will do their best to win our hearts. Relax, Mickey and Mario, there is room for everyone.

Disney's expansion isn't limited to its parks, because this year it extends to its cruise line as well. This summer, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will open in the Bahamas. In December, Disney's newest ship, Disney Treasure, will finally set sail! Are we prepared for everything Disney is giving us this year?

These are just a few of the exciting developments planned for the next 10 years. Disney is investing a significant amount of money to make Disney Parks the favorite destination on Earth! Famvia will continue to keep you updated with more news about everything Disney has to offer, so stay tuned with us!

See you soon!
