Springtime is around the corner, and Disney has been getting ready for a special occasion that will make your mind bloom with excitement and joy. Yes, we are talking about the annual Flower & Garden Festival, and we have some new information about the 2024 edition.

February 2024 will end on a high note, specifically on February 28th when the long-awaited festival begins at EPCOT in Disney World. Visitors will have the chance to immerse in this botanical experience until May 27th. Yes, for several weeks this wonderful Disney park will be filled with colors, music, special edition dishes, and so much more. We cannot contain our excitement, what about you?
However, we know every year EPCOT’s festivals love to surprise us with new additions or some changes here and there, so let’s see some new details of what we can expect for the upcoming event. Maybe Te Fiti will spring some of her magic for this festival… who knows!
Surprises & More Surprises
Toapries are one of the most iconic and most anticipated decorations for this festival. Every fan wishes to spot their favorite characters displayed in this creative way, and it seems this year is no exception. The adorable Groot, who stole our hearts on Guardians of the Galaxy, will be making a statement for the very first time in the Flower & Garden Festival. I am Groot...! Yes, you are Groot and you are now also a flower.
It makes so much sense, this unique humanoid tree is the perfect addition and you can’t forget your camera so you can take as many pictures as you please with this beloved character.
But this is not the only new topiary that will be joining the more than 70 displays that will be lying around the park. Wish fans may have a wonderful surprise, encountering their favorite characters from the movie such as Asha, Valentino, and even the Wishing Star.
Another new experience that guests can look forward to is visiting the new World Celebration Garden, where one of our favorite dragons will be waiting to see us all. Of course we are talking about Figment. Ohh, he is ready to paint our pupils with purple-ish tones and a fun smiles.
Is it party time yet?
Yes, why not rock off some dance moves and show off your whimsical singing voice at the iconic Garden Rocks concert, which will be welcoming new groups this year (Crowder, Modern English, and more). And also, for the very first time, Magic Juan will be sharing the stage with Raul Acosta & Oro Solido in a unique performance that will make us dance until dawn (or until the park closes, I guess).
