Everyone, at least once in their life, has dreamt of visiting the happiest place on Earth, A.K.A. Disney World, because, well, who wouldn’t want to? They have four AMAZING theme parks with numerous rides, restaurants, hotels, entertainment, character meet-and-greets, and unique activities.
A Christmas Present!
That’s why it would not miss the bucket list of many people, especially since it’s the holiday season again. But sometimes, limited park hours can be a problem when enjoying and making the most of what we can in Disney World, but thankfully, Disney World extended the hours of Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios for us!
Here are the updated and extended hours:
Magic Kingdom
First up is where you can channel your most magical self, whatever your age is — Magic Kingdom! It’s the holiday season again, and we all know that this is the most popular theme park during these days because of its 40 attractions, themed dining and shopping, and magical and unique activities.
That’s why it will be opening as early as 8:00 a.m. in most days of December except for December 20th and 23rd, but will close at 6:00 p.m. on the dates that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place. While for the new year, or January 1st to 3rd, Magic Kingdom will open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. but will open earlier on January 4th to 6th, 2023, at 8:00 a.m.
Hollywood Studios
Next up is the theme park that is known for entertainment and immersive experiences thanks to its live shows and Disney theming — Hollywood Studios! We’re lucky, because Disney extended their park hours so we could be entertained as much as possible with our loved ones.
Hollywood Studios will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., on December 24th to 31st, which is 30 minutes earlier than usual. Some good news: if you’ll be celebrating New Year’s Eve there, it is open as early as 8:30 a.m. and as late as 12:00 a.m. Also, it will open at 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from January 1st to January 6th, 2024, to welcome the new year with a bang!
Animal Kingdom
Last but not the least, the park that is dedicated and themed to the natural environment and animal conservation, Animal Kingdom! Even though it’s different from the rest of Disney World parks, many would still want to experience that uniqueness and have a touch with nature, even during the holiday season.
That’s why Disney World extended its hours until 8:00 p.m. this December, except for the 15th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, since Animal Kingdom will close at 7:00 p.m. on these dates. To welcome the new year, the park will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on January 1st to January 3rd, 2024, and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on January 4th to 6th, 2024!
