A new land in sight!
This New Year is full of surprises at one of our favorite theme parks… a new land is making its debut in 2024, and we cannot wait to finally visit the finished project. Meanwhile, there have been some progress on the construction site.
Universal Studios is getting ready for you!
Is not a surprise one of our favorite theme parks of all, Universal Orlando Resort is expanding its attractions with this new exciting project. DreamWorks Animation is the highlight of the brand-new land that Universal Studios is preparing for fans. This is just one of the many new experiences that the park will be debuting in 2024.
Last week we had the chance to take a sneak peek at how the project is going, and we gladly saw some improvements in the area. The walls have been up since last year, and the construction has been shaping more and more into the utopic and vibrant land that will fill up guests with excitement, fun and thrilling adventures.
Where is it located?
If you want to take a look into the project on your next visit, head over to Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone, which has been closed for over a year (January 16th, 2023). Several spots there remain open to visitors, like SpongeBob StorePants, The Animal Actors Show and E.T. Adventure. Universal knew we couldn’t live without them.
What to expect from this new land?
Visitors cannot contain the excitement of finally immersing in this new incredible journey. According to Universal, guests will be able to explore and submerge in an interactive experience that will connect them with the most beloved and nostalgic DreamWorks characters (Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Gabby’s Dollhouse and so much more).
Plus, the uniqueness of all the structures, the decorations and mix of colors will surely upgrade the experience to a whole new level. Visitors should have their cameras ready, because they now have the chance to take a closer look at Shrek's house. Some guests report that they have been invited by the famous Ogre to step inside! Sounds awesome, right?
All set? It's time to explore this new land!
