I have to admit, this is a pretty good name for a carousel

There is a type of attraction in theme parks which is a mystery to many guests. A ride where you hop on weird horses and magical creatures, then all you do is spin around for a minute or two until you are done. Most of the time, you can hear a distant, cute song playing and multiple visual effects like colorful lights blinking all around you. Many call this ride a “carousel”, although a lot of people are busy nowadays to check them out, running to roller coasters and popular dark rides.

Dr.Seuss, however, is a fan of the classics, and he brings to us a very colorful, charming carousel which entire families can enjoy. Do you like spinning around? Do you like Dr.Seuss? How about purple horses with chicken legs and ponytails? We are talking about the stories of Dr.Seuss, so of course the creatures are going to look out-of-this-world as if they were created by a random AI prompt. But you know what? I do like them!

The Good

I probably don’t need to explain why you will like or hate an attraction like this one, but I will try my best. Do you:

• Like carousels.
• Have young children
• Have your crush right next to you visiting Islands of Adventure

Then it might be a good idea to come on this ride, especially since queue times rarely exceed five minutes. You can choose between various weird animals, from blue elephants to ostriches and also bench seats that resemble something out of Wacky Races. 

I don’t think it’s as charming as the carousel in Magic Kingdom, but it’s not fair to compare them both directly. In one, you're riding a classic theme park attraction in one of the world's most popular theme parks, surrounded by Disney magic. Here, you're still having a great time, but instead of Mickey, Minnie, and friends, creatures that seem to have stepped out of a Beatles music video accompany you. The scenery is pretty well done, with the Sky Trolley running around nearby and a bunch of colorful stores surrounding you as well.

The Bad

• This ride will be considered… bad… in the following cases:
• If you hate carousels and probably have a cold heart.
• If you have nightmares with the creatures from the Dr. Seuss stories.

If you asked your crush to come with you, she laughed and said no. In this case, you can probably reduce the rating of this attraction to a 1 or a 2, that is perfectly understandable.

Will Kids Enjoy it?

Yep! Toddlers and young children will have a blast in this ride. This is also a great attraction for parents that want to bring their children and get great pictures for those family photos that you put in your living room. Teenagers might not enjoy it as much, but the queue is so fast that they probably won’t complain… much.
