Room Options at Beaches Ocho Rios

Beaches Ocho Rios isn’t as huge as something like Beaches Turks & Caicos, and we can safely say that most rooms are near everything that the resort has to offer. There are three different districts at Ocho Rios, with different room levels and views to guests. They are: the Caribbean Village, the Greek Village and the French Village.

The Caribbean Village typically offers the most affordable accommodation options, with rooms situated at the rear of the resort, slightly farther from the beach. The Greek Village typically provides rooms located in front of the main beach, offering excellent views of the ocean. Similarly, the French Village also offers oceanfront rooms that are often spacious and more luxurious, complete with a swimming pool overlooking the ocean.

Beaches Ocho Rios does not offer rooms with butler service, but guests can opt for a concierge room for additional perks if desired. The concierge rooms include access to a private check-in, a dedicated lounge, a mini-bar with an expanded selection, and a few more amenities.

Prices will vary a lot, from the Village you choose all the way to Room Levels, the exact day of your visit and more. The best tip I can give is to put as many guests as possible inside your room, since this will lower the overall price.

Let’s do the math. Two adults in a Caribbean Luxury Family Sized Suite King traveling to Beaches Ocho Rios in early December will pay around $360 per person, per night. This price goes  down to $215 per person, per night, if you manage to put four adults in the same room during your stay, which is a great way to share expenses.

The Villages at Beaches Ocho Rios

Caribbean Village

The most affordable option when visiting Beaches Ocho Rios, but you can find rooms with the concierge service available here as well. Guests report that most rooms at the Caribbean Village look a bit dated and old, and a complete renovation would do wonders to make them look more modern. These rooms are located on “the back” of the resort, closer to the main swimming pool.

Greek Village

The Greek Village features rooms located directly in front of the main beach, offering great ocean views. You can step out of your room and almost instantly feel the sand under your feet. All rooms in the Greek Village come with concierge service, making them slightly more expensive than usual.

French Village

The French Village at Beaches Ocho Rios offers views of the ocean similar to the Greek Village, but it's positioned slightly to the side of the main beach. It also features a swimming pool with excellent beach views.

Almost every room in the French Village comes with concierge service, except for the honeymoon suite, which has a maximum occupancy of two guests - the only room in the entire resort with this limit. The French Village offers a variety of room types, with prices that can be both cheaper and more expensive than those in the Greek Village.

With that said, Villages are more about the location and where you want to be situated. Since everything is close in Beaches Ocho Rios, they end up not being that big of a deal, unless you really want to stay right in front of the beach. When it comes to what will be at your disposal, Room Levels are more important, so let's check them out.

Room Levels

Each village comes with rooms that have their very own category levels. They are the Beaches Luxury and Beaches Concierge.

Unlike other resorts like Beaches Turks & Caicos, rooms at Ocho Rios have a maximum occupancy of 5 guests.

Beaches Luxury

Good for: you are on a budget, you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in your room.

Price range: typically starting from $170 to $240 per guest/per night depending on your room

Max. occupancy: 2 (Honeymoon Suite only) and 5 guests

The name can be a bit misleading, as the Beaches Luxury is actually the budget option at the resort. Beaches Luxury rooms are available only in the Caribbean Village and there is a single one in the French Village, which is the Honeymoon Suite.

All Luxury rooms at Beaches Ocho Rios include complimentary Wi-Fi, a stocked mini-bar with water, juice, soda, wine, and local beer (upon request), and free airport transfers. You have the option to choose a room with direct patio access on the ground floor or select a room on the second or third floor. These rooms offer views of the pools and gardens, but some of them give good views of the ocean as well.

Beaches Concierge

Good for: small parties of 4 guests, you want a bit more luxury, you like the Concierge perks offered.

Price range: typically starting from $210 to $330 per guest/per night depending on your room

Max. occupancy: from 4 to 5 guests.

The mid-term rooms for Beaches Resort, which is actually quite luxurious. These rooms give you access to the Concierge perks, which include:

The Concierge Lounge: think of this one like those fancy airport lounges for first-class passengers. You get access to a place to relax, drink coffee, have a beer, and just enjoy your time. You can also check-in here and be directed to your room by a dedicated staff member.

Plush bathrobes: now you can feel all cozy when leaving the shower.

Special In-room bar: you have access to soda, wine, beer, juice, water, liqueur and can request specific alcoholic beverages.

…and more perks, like access to a weekly party to concierge members, special treats during your birthday, check out/check in with a concierge agent and the list goes on. At Beaches Ocho Rios, the concierge staff can assist you with any questions you may have and can make reservations for spa services and cabanas as well.

There are concierge room options available at every single Village in Beaches Ocho Rios. The *breathes deeply* French Village Honeymoon Oceanview Grande Luxe Concierge Veranda Suite King is the most affordable option, with prices starting at $210. The most expensive one is the Caribbean Oceanview Penthouse One Bedroom Concierge Suite, with starting prices of $330. Every concierge room gives good views of the beach or the ocean.

Price ranges can fluctuate significantly depending on the season, number of guests, and the exact date of your visit. For example, two adults and two children staying in a Greek Beachfront Concierge Terrace Suite King sometime in mid-October would pay $220 per night per guest. However, the price increases to $350 per night per guest if you decide to stay in the same room in mid-March 2025.
