One of our favorites is this Caribbean fried bakes. What we have here is a delectable fried bread that pairs perfectly with saltfish. These treats can be savored plain or stuffed with various fillings such as cheese, jam, or meat.
Lambi (Souse)
This Conch, known as lambi in Grenada, is prepared by tenderizing the meat and seasoning it with onions, garlic, and peppers, then marinating it in lime juice. It’s served hot or cold, however you please.
Pelau
This one is a fan-favorite in Grenada. Pelau is rice cooked with meat or fish, beans, sweet peppers, carrots, and coconut milk. The simmering in coconut milk is what gives the dish a unique flavor profile, it’s a must-try for your next visit.
Crab Back
Grenadian crab back is seasoned with spring onions, sweet peppers, garlic, and spices. If you love seafood as much as we do, this one will be on the top of your list. They add breadcrumbs so it’s even more satisfying when you take a bite and hear that "crunch crunch". Now I'm starving...
