Royal Caribbean Is Unifying Its Loyalty Programs

Three Cruise Lines Under the Same Rules Now

Good news, friends. Do you love traveling aboard Celebrity Cruises but also enjoy the luxurious experience of boarding Royal Caribbean's stunning new ship, Icon of the Seas? Or perhaps you prefer the underrated charm of Silversea for shorter family trips? Have you ever felt a tinge of disappointment when switching between cruise lines, only to find yourself perpetually stuck in the "Copper tier", with no access to even a cappuccino during your first night aboard?

Well, Royal Caribbean is streamlining their rewards program across all three brands: Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea. Now, you can enjoy your points and tier status across any of these cruise lines, even if you primarily sail with just one.

I must tip my hat to Royal Caribbean for this initiative. It's logical to consolidate rewards programs when you own multiple cruise lines. This streamlining not only simplifies things for guests but also removes the need for constant worry about points. Plus, it enhances the freedom to choose your preferred cruise line without the pressure of maintaining tier status.
For instance, there's no longer a necessity to repeatedly sail with Celebrity Cruise Line solely to preserve your tier at the highest level. This change opens up a whole new deck of possibilities for passengers while preserving their loyalty status.

“We strive to provide guests with experiences across our portfolio of brands that cater to all of life’s moments”, said Jason Liberty, President and CEO of the Royal Caribbean Group.

“Each of our differentiated brands have passionate fans who take pride in the status they’ve achieved through repeat sailings. In a first for the cruise industry, our new Loyalty Status Match program rewards guests traveling across our brands, and this is one more step in our journey of transforming a vacation of a lifetime into a lifetime of vacations.”

Members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society, Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club, and Silversea’s Venetian Society will now be matched for upcoming cruises on any sister brand.

According to Royal Caribbean’s official website, program highlights include:

Seamless Status Recognition: Members of Crown & Anchor Society, Captain’s Club and Venetian Society are now eligible to receive a one-for-one status match across all three brands after enrolling in each program.

Onboard Benefits: When sailing on each sister brand, guests can enjoy the onboard benefits offered by each brand for their equivalent tier status.

Effortless Tier Matching: Guests already enrolled in multiple loyalty programs will be automatically matched across brands within seven days to ensure guests receive their appropriate loyalty status.

Enhanced Travel Experience: Status match enables guests to select from a broader and more diverse range of vacation experiences and destinations”.
