What To SAY to Characters During Meet & Greets

Here is what you should tell them... and also what you should definitely NOT tell them!

The time has come.

You have been waiting in line for one hour to finally take a picture next to the worldwide famous, celebrity, businessman and billionaire Mickey Mouse. The nearby cast member finally smiles and gives you the green light so you can step forward and make a new, special memory that you will carry forever. You force a smile and step forward, look at that big, beautiful mouse head with the huge years and then…

nothing. You don’t know what to say. You wave, position yourself next to Mickey, take your picture and… done! You quickly give your spot to a father of two, who starts asking all sorts of questions to Mickey Mouse. His son and daughter laugh and ask questions of their own, which makes Mickey laugh as the star of the show gives them a high five.

Hm. Could you have asked questions of your own as well? Maybe even as a form to entertain your own children? Don’t fret, my friend! With Famvia’s quick guide, you will now know exactly what to say (and don’t say) when you come face to face with some of your favorite characters.

Let’s get started.

What you should NOT talk about: Epic Universe; how Lightning Lanes are getting more and more expensive each year; if he indeed set Maleficent on fire during the Fantasmic show in Disneyland.
