Why February Might Be a Busy Month in Disney World?

Dreaming about going to Disney next month?

In a magical place that seems to not have an “off” season, Disney World in 2024 brings new reasons to fill the parks with bigger and bigger crowds. With the return of the Disney Dining Plan, all-day park-hopping and fewer restrictions on Park Pass reservations, we expect places like Magic Kingdom to get a little more busy than usual.

Now you need to mark your calendar and watch out for February, a month that was typically known as being less crowded than usual. Why, you might be asking? Well, as we were telling you just yesterday about a certain person who could be visiting on February 4th, you need to know that the NFL Pro Bowl is set to take center stage at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, so football fans might just extend their stay for a Disney World moment!

Now here’s another reason, there’s a February event that is happening far from Orlando, but could easily swell Disney World Crowds. Mardi Gras is hitting on February 13th, which translates to a school break in Louisiana. As reported by 97.3 The Dawg radio station, families will be probably heading up for a Disney World trip this week.

The week of February 13th (probably) won’t be the peaceful experience you imagined, because families from Louisiana are looking for an escape from all the Mardi Gras chaos, potentially turning Disney World into their preferred celebration destination.

Now that you know this, consider these two events in February if you are not looking for big crowds and prefer a more relaxed time in Disney World.
