New Drone Show Brings Nostalgia to Disneyland Paris

New Drone Show at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris continues to surprise us with several awesome entertainment options. Their latest creation, "Disney Electrical Sky Parade!" is enough to leave you speechless. Drawing inspiration from the "Main Street Electrical Parade," this sky-stunning spectacle brings a little bit of nostalgia to guests who have the opportunity to watch it live.

The original "Main Street Electrical Parade" holds a special place in the hearts of many Disney fans, including us and show director Mabrouk Reguigui, who recalled its debut at Disneyland Paris in 1992. Reguigui expressed a deep respect for the parade's legacy and was inspired to reimagine it for a new generation of Disney fans.

The show is called "Disney Electrical Sky Parade!" and it features projection effects, lighting, lasers, fountains, and an impressive fleet of 500 drones. You will see amazing things that will bring memories back like Cinderella's pumpkin coach or Elliot the dragon, iconic scenes from the classic parade recreated in a light style, evoking a sense of Deja Vu.

The show's soundtrack is an homage to the original parade theme, and it was crafted to honor its electro-synth-magnetic musical while infusing it with fresh energy for modern audiences. Music Producer Jonathan Barr and Composer Rick McKee collaborated to create this experience that takes viewers on a journey through the years.

    The Drones

Disney collaborated with Dronisos, so the show incorporates nearly 20 specialty drones with onboard pyrotechnic effects, that clearly add an extra special effect. Pyro and Special Effects Designer Metin Cig worked with a talented team of designers and coordinators to create this spectacular show.

Disney Electrical Sky Parade is visually stunning in photos and videos, but experiencing it in person is truly a different experience, which is usually the case with shows and events across all Disney.

This show runs until Sept. 30, 2024, so don’t worry, there's still time to plan your trip to Disneyland Paris and witness this amazing festival of nighttime magic and imagination firsthand.
