Foodie and exciting adventure
Yes yes, we love the Pixar Fest for its parades like “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!”, or the the Club Pixar “Together Forever -A Pixar Nightime Spectacular”. Like good foodies (or the best in town), no Disney event is complete without savoring the yummy delicacies it offers. And let me tell you, the Pixar Fest is no exception to this rule.
Let’s take a look at some of the great options that will be available from April 26 until August 4, 2024 at Disneyland. We cannot wait to rock off our taste buddies with a variety of flavors!
Disney California Adventure Park
Location: Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta
- Brandnew Birria Pizza: This one looks good. It’s inspired by Coco, the movie, and it's a fun combination of birria, tomatillo salsa, mozzarella, consomé, onions & cilantro, radishes, and some touches of lime. Trust me, flavor takes the spotlight with this one!
Location: Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream
- Sundae: This colorful "Adventure is Out There" treat is inspired by the movie Up. Expect Vanilla ice cream scooped on a chocolate-like base with a waffle cup on the bottom, topped with whipped cream, hot fudge, and some vibrant balloons are the cherry on top. For a sunny time at the park this one sounds like a great option, don’t you think?
Disneyland Park
Location: Alien Pizza Planet
Toy Story is in the house with the new yummy creations that will be waiting for you.
- Alien Macaroon; ugh we love a good macaroon and this one looks so cute. This adorable version is filled with irresistible chocolate ganache, chocolate brownie bites, and decadent salted caramel buttercream. It's a flavor explosion you won't want to miss! Now, about that green exterior... Sure, it might leave a little somethin' on your teeth, but fear not! A quick sip of water or soda should do the trick. Who can resist such a yummy treat?
- Cosmic Chili Pasta; has a touch of spiciness thanks to the Jalapeño-cheddar pinwheel pasta which is covered with some crushed corn chips, green onions, and a slight touch of spiced chili (we hope it won’t burn our palate) I’m not really a fan of spicy things so I don’t know if I would give it a try. Maybe my friends would do it for me and give me an honest review!
Many other interesting options will certainly be worth a try. Earth Pass Cake (inspired by Soul), Eye Scream Cone (inspired by Monsters, Inc.) or the Silenzio Bruno Sandwich (inspired by Luca).
