Disney really knows how to surprise Kids!
The most special moment during the grand opening of the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris happened a 5-year-old from the Make-A-Wish program made history for being the first ever person to step foot inside the hotel.
Marie always dreamed about becoming a princess, and with a bit of pixie dust, Make-A-Wish France and Disneyland Paris made her dream come true, sending her a royal invitation to be the guest of honor in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
During the five-star Disneyland Hotel opening, Marie had the most magical adventure. As soon as the doors opened, there was a welcoming party for a princess like Marie with Mickey Mouse as the host and a bunch of cast members.
Cinderella was the designated fairy godmother, and she had planned the entire day for Marie. The first stop was Marie’s room for the night, The Disneyland Hotel Royal Suite.
Later on she was taken to Queen Elsa’s Ice Palace, where she spent the whole day watching her favorite movie. One of the best moments was also when several skilled cast members made sure to give Marie a complete princess makeover to make her look like a fairy tale character!
When she thought the day couldn’t get any better, she had the chance to meet all the other princesses, and she had the opportunity to visit the famous Sleeping Beauty Castle where she had the most amazing view from the park! Of course, she enjoyed the attractions and also had the chance to watch the Disney Stars on Parade.
