You should know about these RULES at Disney Parks

Like any other place in our beautiful planet Earth, Disney has a few rules. Most of them are common to every single theme park, from Magic Kingdom to Hollywood Studios. Some rules are very easy to understand - be polite with everyone and don't throw trash on the ground, since Mickey doesn't like that. Well, in fact, no one likes that.

There are other rules, however, that are a little bit harder to understand. Some of them we didn't even know about! If you're a Disney fan, you know that enjoying the rides is a highlight of your visit. Here, we will share with you five rules that Disney Cast Members strictly enforce and the reasons behind them.

    1. Stay Seated, Keep Hands, Arms, Feet, and Legs Inside the Ride Vehicle

Explanation: We know that throughout attractions, guests are instructed to remain seated with hands and feet inside the ride vehicle at all times. It's all done with safety in mind.

Why? This rule is crucial for preventing injuries and ensuring the safe operation of basically every ride.

    2. No Loose Items on Fast-Paced Rides

    TRON Lightcycle : Run-.avif

Explanation: Some attractions can be fast-paced, especially roller coasters. You can't carry loose items like hats, sunglasses, and some personal belongings.

Why? Loose items can become airborne during rides, posing a risk to both riders and those below.

    3. Children Must Be In FRONT Of You

Explanation: This rule applies to attractions allowing you to carry your child, such as the Haunted Mansion, "It's a Small World," and Frozen Ever After.

Why? Placing a child on your back or shoulders poses a safety risk, increasing the chance of injury or head impact during entry.

    4. No Manipulating Ride Photos

Explanation: Ride photos undergo screening to filter out offensive content or gestures by riders.

Why?: Disney prohibits associating Cast Members or company branding with non family-friendly content

    5. No Selfie Sticks or Tripods

Explanation: Selfie sticks and tripods are banned on rides due to safety concerns.

Why? Beyond the risk of derailing, these items can potentially injure riders. Flying objects, like a selfie stick, pose a significant threat.
